Trap, Skeet & Five-Stand Safety Rules
NO ALCOHOL OR ILLEGAL DRUGS ALLOWED
Management reserves the right to Refuse any shooter
the right to shoot if he or she appears to be under the influence of alcohol
or drugs.
TRAP SAFETY RULES
1.
No gun shall be loaded until shooter is on shooting
station. Loading is considered as
putting any part of a loaded shell in any part of a gun.
2.
The loaded gun shall be kept in a direction that will not
endanger other field personal or spectators.
3.
When not on the shooting stations no gun will be carried
with breech not open. Pumps and autos will have bolt open.
4.
If shooter is on station with loaded gun and a delay occurs
any gun will be unloaded.
5.
Any shooter whose gun accidentally discharges once shall be
required to change guns or if time permits have the gun repaired before
continuing to shoot the round.
6.
One misfire per round after that lost bird.
SKEET SAFETY RULES
1.
No gun shall be loaded until shooter is on shooting

When shooting single targets management may permit loading
of two shells at all stations except high eight.
6.
Loading of more than two shells at any time will not be
allowed and cause for expulsion.
7.
Shooter will not be permitted to use a gun with a “release
type” trigger unless the referee and other members of the squad are notified.
8.
Any shooter whose gun accidentally discharges once shall be
required to change guns or if time permits have the gun repaired before
continuing to shoot the round.
9.
Special consideration is given to senior citizens and or
handicapped shooters, extra yardage will be allowed on station eight.
10.
