How big is the club?

Club membership is limited to 350 members, we are currently at the maximum membership, and a waiting list is in effect. An individual membership includes the member’s spouse and children up to 21 years of age living at home.

When and where does the club meet?

We meet the Second non-holiday Monday of each quarter (January, April, July, October) at 7:30 PM. The meeting location is published in the club newsletters (available at this website)

Where is the club at?

The club property is located 1-1/2 miles north of 56th Ave. on Lorraine Street and access is controlled by padlock, the combination of which is known only to current members. There are Trap and Skeet fields, and Action Pistol range, a 50 yard Pistol and Small Bore Rifle range, and a 600 yard Rifle range, many with covered firing points. See Map

What kind of shooting programs do you have?

The following programs currently have an active following with regularly scheduled matches: Action Pistol, Trap, Skeet, and NRA and Service Rifle High Power Rifle.

How do I join and what does it cost?

New members are subject to a one-time initiation fee, currently $30.00. Membership dues are $60.00 for the full year when joining April 1 thru September 31, or $30.00 when joining October 1 thru March 31st. The total to join is therefore either $90.00 or $60.00 depending upon the time of the year. New member applications are voted upon at the regular monthly club meetings. NRA membership is required for membership in the Central Kansas Gun Club, no exceptions. After being accepted into membership, an on site range orientation with the club’s Safety Officer is mandatory before receiving the gate entry combination.
